This policy explains what information NumroQ collects when you use our website, developer portal, REST API and software, and how we use and protect it.

Information we collect

• Account information - your name and email address when you register, and a securely hashed password.
• Usage data - API calls, request counts and basic technical logs (IP address, timestamps) used to run the service, enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
• Payment information - handled by our payment provider (merchant of record). We do not store your full card details; we receive only what we need to fulfil your order.
• Calculation inputs - a birth date or name you send to the API is processed to compute a result and is not used to build a profile of you.

How we use it

• To provide and maintain the API and software, and to authenticate your account and API keys.
• To meter usage against your plan and protect the service from abuse and fraud.
• To send essential account emails (verification, password reset, billing) and, if you opt in, product updates.
• To improve the reliability and performance of the Services.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only with service providers that help us run the Services - our payment provider, hosting/infrastructure and email delivery - and only as needed to provide the Services or comply with the law.

Cookies

The developer portal uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. The public site may use privacy-friendly analytics. You can control cookies in your browser.

Data retention

We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as required for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your account; some records may be retained where the law requires.
